Principal
As a Principal at OSD, Marie leads the firm’s work in designing public parks and community spaces that foster connection, inclusivity, and a strong sense of place. Her work is guided by a commitment to community engagement—collaborating closely with residents, civic leaders, and stakeholders to create spaces that reflect local identity and serve the public good. Marie has been deeply involved in the planning and design of numerous civic and park projects across the Southeast, including collaborations with the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and municipalities throughout the region. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and is a Registered Landscape Architect in the State of South Carolina. In her spare time, you can find Marie attending concerts with her husband or teaching her daughter about butterflies and native flowers in her pollinator garden.
